Microsoft has announced updates for its Skype and Skype Qik apps including a new layout, video effects and support for 12 new languages. The update brings a bubble-style layout to chat and adds support for custom emoji on Android. It also includes a new speech to text function that will work with Android Auto, as well as the ability to view and change avatars in group chats.
