Ordinary Moose

I have a question. Roller skates have been seen as retro for a while now. But it's been quite some time that they've been seen as retro. Eventually they have to either become new again or simply go back to being old, right? If that's the case, would roller blades be the new retro form of mobile footwear? I've been thinking about this a lot lately.
